Intervention .... Step by Step
Did you know that nearly 90% of successful drug abuse treatments begin with intervention?

 Break the Cycle of Addiction!

A successful intervention is a straightforward process...

One out of three people is living with or related to someone with a drug abuse or alcohol problem, and intervention can get these people into treatment. Alcoholics and addicts are also our family and people we care about. We may see their problem, but they cannot. When we offer help, they refuse. When we talk to them, they blame us or someone else. It may seem hopeless, but it is not.

What does an intervention require?
Looking at the situation for what it is, without  blame, regret, or guilt. A committment to make things better.

Where do you start?

It is not only about the addict, but also you.  What are you willing to do to help?  You may have to change some long-standing habits.

Remember that addiction is progressive.  The addict is not staying the same but getting worse or beating the addiction.  The longer you wait, the more difficult the intervention.
